Media Maniac: The effects of Media violence on Children

The teenagers have always been considered as one of the most sensitive age groups, due to the fact that they are undergoing both psychological and physiological changes. In recent years it has been observed that the violence that is being portrayed in the media is having a prolonged and at times dangerous effect on the mind of the teenagers. In the category of media violence, the most important ones are those that are carried across through television, movie and most importantly computer games. These factors are creating a lost lasting and bad affect on the psyche of the teenagers which are making them suicidal or criminal minded and no longer an asset for the human society.
