"New to the City" is an adult, family read of same-sex relationships, with a screenplay's feel. Bronze Shepherd, a young African American, and an educated male from the South, decides to relocate to the West Coast in search of a new life, and true love. What he finds is a very flirtatious and sexually, active guy by the name of CoJay. Bronze was raised with strong morals, so this clashed with his faith. So their journey to 'love' was not easy because both men have parents who disagree with their lifestyles, but eventually learns to accept it. In addition, Bronze has to deal with CoJay's old flame, Erik. "New to the City" explores this triangular relationship, along with friends and family members.
