Charged, convicted and condemned, thrown into life as a teenage mother at the age of just 15 years old. Faced with the prejudice of being a young mother, I was then destined for a life of hardship and heartache.
In 1982, my parents emigrated to Jamaica, leaving me to experience the unexpected and unknown. Life became a day to day battle, and one long nightmare.
Loveless and abusive relationships, loss of control over my life, and ashamed to let anyone know.
Love and happiness, comes into my life, and I am happy again, but for how long. My life stood still for so long, how much longer could I battle through life's ups and downs, was there a reason for all of this.
Crossing Rivers Climbing Mountains, how would I conquer them all, would I be able to find some sort of peace, and be able to build bridges, this is an inspiring account of my life, and how I managed to endure, but not lose sight of my faith and hope, having the determination and courage to fight my way through life, and still believe in my dreams.
