HOTEL CHOPIN

It is 1989, and as the City of Paris prepares to celebrate the bicentennial of the French Revolution, Marguerite Brunel, a well-known novelist, begins to write her memoir in an attempt to finally face the pain, turbulence and ghosts of her past. It is her wanderings around Paris, her time spent in Hôtel Chopin, the scene of her joyous rendezvous with Pascal Dubois, the love of her life, and her trips to Florence and Venice that help her to access her memories and to assuage her sorrow and guilt over Pascal's untimely death.
