The Last Message

An odd package delivered to the United Nations complex in New York initially appeared to be a bomb from a terrorist group. When the investigators discovered it defied known laws of physics, the scientific community was both fascinated and baffled. If the device continued on its current course, it would destroy civilization. Scientists Rob Thornton and Sharon Catwold lead an investigation team struggling to halt the device. Who could have created anything so destructive? Scientists, religious leaders and government officials offer vastly different views as to the object’s origin and purpose. Radical religious groups as well as the US military threaten the team’s efforts to understand and halt the doomsday weapon. Can the team discover how the device is constructed?
