Living life to keep living
Standing tall for a reason
Spreading light for a season

Words lending hope
Giving life to the hurt
The simple made to cope
With situations meant to burst
Every fiber of your being
But the light gives meaning
So the pain keeps leaving
The grass starts greening
The birds start singing
A new life, a new beginning
