Star Over Askar

This story is set during the occupation of the Russian military in Afganistan. Lillian Campbell is a woman of high ideals, but in sharing them has found herself in a perilous situation. Held captive for criticizing the treatment of women in Iran, she finds her idealic world clashing with reality.
