The collection begins with a heart warming story about a rat named Bo and his human friend Harry as they form a relationship that neither would have ever envisioned and takes the reader to a parody about the American Dream where they find a baby boomer in his midlife crisis. Finally the "And The Winner Is" shows tells the story of a Vietnamese girl, a trooper from the 101st Airborne, and a FAC pilot have their lives converge at a given time and place in Vietnam in 1969, and reveals the true idiocy of winners in a war.
