Long ago, when people began to emerge from a wild and unorganized existence, they gathered into civil groups to live their lives. Advancement was more rapid for some, while others disappeared and left only a memory. Among the survivors, leaders emerged, heading their men and women for civilization. Progress was measured by invention of amazing tools for both work and war. Those were exciting times, and this is an exciting story.
