Living Lies

Set in four countries: Australia, China, Greece and Thailand. It is a search for meaning in the 21st century that is paved with anguish, humor and pathos; coloured by philosophy and psychology through the blending of the very personal and the confused public, piecing together transient cultural differences, with similarities. It explores human frailty, robustness, sensuality along with power and compliance in political and economic globalised confusion. Many great historical thinkers come in and out of times past to assist and even at times rescue the author in his desperate attempt to understand who and what we are and in the end realising that without artistic sensual awareness we are all living a (anxious) lie. George Sais is a B. A. Graduate from the University of Sydney (1998) and also The Independent Theatre School of Dramatic Art (graduating in 1973). From the age of seventeen he followed an acting, writing and directing career occasionally deviating towards other occupations; some against his own better judgment. Fed up and nearing a breakdown, he decided, or fate decided for him, at the age of 55, to sell, pack and go wherever Mira took him.
