We are a nation of immigrants, but every story is unique. This family story is rooted in prewar Netherlands and the German occupation, it continues in South Africa, and comes to maturity in the United States. It is the story of the Riemersma family.

George Riemersma now lives in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, with Rita, his wife of almost 62 years.
