Anthology of traditional Scottish tales. This volume includes stories by Alexander Leighton, John Mackay Wilson, and Thomas Gillespie. According to Wikipedia: "John Mackay Wilson (1804-1835) was an Scottish writer famous for the six volume Tales of The Borders. He was born in Tweedmouth, on the border between Scotland and England. Towards the end of his life, he suffered from alcoholism. Two of his plays were The Gowrie Conspiracy and Margaret of Anjou.
