Robby's Place

Robby, an 11-year-old boy living in rural Michigan, feels out of place. When his parents divorced and his mother remarried, he lost his position within the family. With two older sisters, Robby liked being the only boy and the youngest. Now, he has two step-brothers to share his room with, one older than him and one younger than him. The transition is not a smooth one for Robby, and he longs for his own space.

When school starts, Robby's teacher gives him an idea: he will find a secret place of his own. The safest location would be behind Firebug Farley’s abandoned house, which everyone claims is haunted. When strange things begin to happen, Robby must demonstrate great courage and determination to follow his dream.
