They met in life after the author’s tragic loss of his wife. They all came from the same distant mountain town where they shared the same circle of friends. Their encounter sparked a deep relationship with hopes for togetherness and shared beauty. Illness and time were not on their side. The author bemoans her untimely departure with words of sorrow addressed to her in some of the many dialects of our world.
