The Lord's Battle: Putting on the armor of God

The Apostle Paul wrote often about the Christian life and in Ephesians six, enumerates the pieces of God's armor for the protection of God's followers. The Lord's Battle shows how Paul drew from his life in the Roman culture and among the Roman soldiers to help us understand and apply what he is saying. Each chapter has an original poem written by the author, history of the Roman soldier in his life, a thought from Scripture, an example of what it means to be a soldier in God's army, and a prayer.
