Marine Geomorphology

This manuscript concerns marine geomorphology. Because the current working hypothesis was formulated before virtually anything was known about the ocean floor, we examine the bathymetry, satellite altimetry, earthquake seismology, and rock ages collected since that time for the Atlantic, Indian, and Pacific basins. An analysis of that data reveals that the geodynamics and the timing of actual events in the ocean basins is poorly understood or misrepresented. Megatrends transect all basins, incorporate all of the ocean floor feature types, and are ten times older than previously listed. The intersecting megatrends refute the concept of seafloor spreading.
