Tales in Ordinary Time is Thomas Kiske's second collection of personal essays, brief vignettes of events large and small,
serious and whimsical, life-altering and mundane. They are the kind of true stories of which a life is composed, fleeting moments you somehow just don't want to forget. Some of these essays depict
a world that no longer exists outside the recollection of the men and women, boys and girls who came of age in that world, in a far simpler time. As with Kiske's first book, Time Has Its Own
Terms, these short pieces are reflections on friendship and family
