Conflagration

Conflagration was the title chosen because it means large out of control fire. A word that has double meaning, my life, and since the book is an autobiographical one , was out of control. my world was falling apart, but at the end of my stay on the island, a fully loaded gas tanker , on a deserted road, through dry grass land, was rolling down the hill towards me, my life, my friend's and the driver's were all in jeopardy. All the bumps and bangs the truck took, the tanker full of gas, the dry grass, when, not if it exploded, would catch the grass on fire. We were going to die. It is a story of survival. How and why are questions I've been asking myself since. However, if that brief episode were to stand alone, one would ask why did I remain on island after my family left. I described my life surrounding the incident. Like life, there are ups and downs, cheers, fears and sorrows. Life, after all is an adventure.
