"STATEMENT ON MY POETRY
I see my poetic task as a telling of my imaginings, avoiding incomprehensible symbols. I paint
word-pictures ranging from graceful to stressed to comedic, in rhythmic fashion with occasional
surprises. Subjects go from nature to intriguing people such as growing kids, to the far reaches of thought. They draw on life observations of travels, technology, therapeutics and personal yearnings."
