Voodoo Wine: Poetry For The Mind

She was raised in Dobson, North Carolina and was the youngest of four. In 1986 she graduated from Surry Central High School and moved to Winston- Salem, North Carolina. In 1988 she attended Miller-Motte Business College and graduated in 1990. Over the years she would find herself writing poetry from life experiences. In 2004 she met Phillip Morris and they were married on New Year’s Eve 2005. In 2007 she gave birth to twins, Phillip and Zipporah. In 2010, she was fully inspired by the gift of poetry and she became empowered to share.
