Fear and Hope

Whilst cycling to work one day, I heard a distant voice holler “smack head!” Little did I know that voice would be one I never would forget as I would soon discover who this person was and I would be terrorized on a daily basis. After many years of suffering in silence, my weight dropping to a life threatening four stone I spoke out. Only in my eyes that was a mistake—as now my whole family’s lives will never be the same again.
