"On February 26, 1993, Sammy Whiteside and his work partner, Ibraham Nazir,
had just started their new jobs at the World Trade Center. Their Forman Bill Hayes was going to be on a high priority assignment, so he assigned them to a keep busy job changing light bulbs in the basement. The explosion that morning not only destroyed the basement, but changed both of their lives forever. Sammy, untouched by the blast,
even though he was at ground zero, went looking for his friend. He found him at the temporary morgue. Crying and sobbing, he held Ibraham in his arms. The EMTs discretely walked to the other end of the platform. âHelp,â cried Sammy, âHeâs alive.â
