Bad Strumming

Drum-chi, tipsy donkeys, pink elephants, soft-hearted hookers, and Noodles of Doom. These are all part of a two-and-a half year hilarious adventure that occurs when the author, a musically-challenged pathologist, decides to become a rock star. As she navigates through the music industry, she leaves behind a trail of devastation that includes five instruments, six music teachers, tens of unopened boxes of music software, and a living room destroyed by recording and mixing gear. Rescued by friendly musicians, a pair of demented cats, and a professional recording studio, she emerges with two CDs, "Smilinʼ Eyes" and "Dinosaur Love," containing 30 of her original songs.
