When Erica Harding loses her full-term, unborn baby, she has to draw from her inner strength to cope with the pain and grief of this tragic loss. Jason, her once supportive husband, grows emotionally distant from her and she still clings to whatever relationship they have left until Jason admits that he is having an affair - again. Feeling alone and betrayed, and having found a mysterious note in her bag, Erica is drawn into an online correspondence. Believing it is with the handsome and caring man she just met working in a local bookstore, she is surprised to find that the person she's been writing to is not at all who she thinks.
