Information Dynamics: Foundations and Applications

Information Dynamics presents an interdisciplinary treatment of nonlin ear dynamical systems with an emphasis on complex systems which transm it information in time and space. The book offers a new theoretical ap proach to dynamical systems from an information theory perspective. Th e goal of the book is to provide a detailed and unified study of the f low of information in a quantitative manner, utilizing methods and tec hniques from information theory, time series analysis, nonlinear dynam ics and neural networks.
