Books about the rapture and the end times are cranked out monthly. New developments in the world, such as Iraq and Saddam Hussein, the New World Order, conflict in Israel, and even Y2K, provide more grist for a new batch of texts. A series of fictional novels, and even a variety of movies, including, "Left Behind", are now popular, satisfying our culture's curiosity and thirst about the end times. The common thread among all of these is the theology on which they are all based, the pretribulational rapture of the church. However, this doctrine may be incorrect. The Posttribulational Rapture of the Church examines the doctrine of the pretribulational rapture, and provides a Biblical alternative.
