The Twelve Millennial Beat of the mtDNA sequences in the "control region" portion of the theory in the book's title, plus a tremendous environmental upheaval 180,000 years ago comprise the new theory of evolution itself. However, what is most unique about us Homo sapiens devolves from the Brain Asymmetry.
