What Really Happened To Me...: (A Novel Based on Some True Events)

Young Mea suffers abuse at the hands of her mother, who beats her violently. Full of loathe towards her abusive mother, Mea plots to kill her, believing that it is the only way to stop the abuse she and her brothers endure. But it’s not just her mother who abuses her. For several years, Mea has dreams of a man molesting her, though she can never see his face clearly enough in her dreams to know for sure if this truly happened to her. The misty visions suddenly turn clear one day. Mea is molested and realizes that this is the man in her dreams, who actually molested her several times when she was younger. When she tells her mother about this, her mother goes after the molester with a knife, but later returns home and blames the sexual assault on young Mea. After being abused by her mother again, Mea runs away from home, only to be kidnapped. More devastating events await her as she is held captive in a basement along with another young girl.
