Widowhood: A Doorway To Calling And Conversion

This book is a spiritual journey of the healing of grief as experienced by the author while at Union Theological Seminary in New York City after her husband had been killed in an automobile crash. To her joy and amazement, the naming of her pain freed her. In one instance, the touching of her forsakenness was followed by mystical experience that healed her.

Isaiah 54 depicts the spiritual journey of a widow from forsakenness to having "your Maker as your husband." Through being found, gathered, and loved, her spirit came to light. The book is dedicated to discerning some of the mechanisms, the experiences, the steps, the ideas, and the people that can pull one through. It is the profound wish of the author that her spiritual journey of healing of grief may be a gift for the healing of others grief.
