Promise

Doctor Anthony Kovacs, a hypnotherapist, has a successful practice in Detroit. He is about to begin another day dealing with depressing people problems -- marital, phobias, psychosomatic -- and with hypnosis he finds causes of these problems which leads to relief. Suddenly there is a disturbance in his office visiting room. A beautiful lady is wrestling Kovacs' receptionist and whacks her with a tape recorder. "Doctor, I've got to see you. It's an emergency. You've got to help us" The emergency proved to be Kovacs' most exasperating, challenging case. From that moment he found himself desperately trying to prevent murder.
