Some Field Family Journeys: Selected Descendants of Roger Del Feld

Warren James Field was born in Ferrisburg, Vermont in
1923. After graduating from Vergennes High School in
1942, he entered the University of Vermont on a scholarship.
After one semester he enlisted in the US Marine Corps where
he served three years in the South Pacifi c on Saipan , Iwo
Jima and Okinawa in the ground crew of VMB-612. This
was a Marine Corps B-25 Bomber Squadron operating
against Japanese shipping.
