THE ENEMY WITHIN....: Living with Sickle Cell Disease

I refer to myself as a sickle cell survivor. People who have sickle cell usually do not live past forty, but by the grace of God, I am now sixty-four years old. Over my life, I have found a few people who knew about sickle cell, so when my family doctor suggested that I write a book about my life, along with my son's encouragement, I thought it will be a way to let people know about sickle cell.
