There are many gifts you can give to those you love. The greatest gifts are words. Lee encouraged that, she showed us that, she taught us that. For that we, her family, are thankful. Lee’s poetry was the expression of her experience – as a woman, a wife, a mother, a friend, a sister, an observer. Her poetry was a very intimate part of her life.
