If the shoe fit, don’t blame me is a collection of poems that focus on the evils of alcohol, drugs, disobedience and irresponsibility to redemption and love. Rosie’s first poem, “At the funeral” tells a story of an individual attending a funeral and is surprised at the young age of the deceased. He begins to take note of some of the grieving mourners as they make their way in; the alcoholic, drug addicts, hypocrite and prostitute; all of whom have had a very negative impact on him because they have all contributed negatively to his demise.
