The author, who attended the Second World Population Conference in Belgrade, Yugoslavia, in 1965, looks at the year 2000 A.D. in the light of its discussions. Articles appearing in Finance and Development may be quoted or reprinted in their entirety, provided that due acknowledgment is made. The Editor would be glad to receive two copies of publications containing such reprints or quotations. Finance and Development appears quarterly in English, French, and Spanish. It is issued and sent free of charge.
