Make Believe

It's 1951 and Edna Ferber is in Hollywood to support Max Jeffries, a friend who was part of the film production of Show Boat—until he was blacklisted as a Communist. When Max ends up dead, Edna searches for answers in the tawdry side of Hollywood.
