The author of this book has unique insight into physical and mental abuse. He was subjected to it from age ten to his mid twenties. He went from the public school systems of Sydney, Canberra and Perth enduring continuing physical and mental abuse that made the previous experience pale in comparison to the next. The author endured a long and very abusive work life as an apprentice chef in civilian world and the Australian Defence Force. During this time including Defence Service he used Drugs and Drank Heavily. After leaving the Defence force the author turned things around and went on to study at University something he was told in high school was out of his reach.
