Crosswalk

Dory and Dave had come full circle. They'd met as children but Dave, being five years older, thought that she was way to young for him. Thirty years later they met by chance at a popular nightclub and fate was on their side because they were both victims of divorce. They picked up right where they'd left off as children, laughing and talking for hours. But pride kept Dave away when he discovered that Dory had created a good life for her and her five children because his divorce had left him destitute and struggling to make ends meet. When he finally realized that she was everything he'd ever wanted, nothing could stop him from making her his wife. But their happiness was short lived for one sunny spring day their world tilted on its axis and the life they thought they'd live together was changed by a happenstance beyond their control.
