The challenge we all face is to order our souls and to order our relationships toward good and loving purposes. We all need to learn how to become virtuous people and how to build a virtuous society. The failure to realize these ideals bring disorder to our lives and tragedy to culture. Shakespeare's plays help us to understand, through a rich variety of characters and situations, how we can become more fully human as virtuous and loving beings.
