This is of course fiction and it represents no reference to any person living or dead and any actual events except those clearly identified and a part of the public domain.

The story is a fictional representation of what can happen to a country when the political leaders have more of their personal gain in mind rather than the good of the country. Personal gain does not mean money or other assets but often relates to personal power or some concept of government that does not conform to the intent of the constitution.

This book, while fictional, poses a possible condition that may even exist at the present time and suggests a solution that would correct many of the problems within the laws of the constitution and avoid armed rebellion and return the government to a republic. Note that nowhere in the constitution or the bill of right is the word democracy used.

Maybe you are not interested in this concept. The book is an interesting tale and should be good reading.
