Wayne and Me

This is a true story about two athlete’s who enjoyed playing basketball at the college level as much as they enjoyed their special friendship. They would live out this special friendship in the college town of Logan Utah, the home of Utah State University. The names are Wayne Estes and Leroy Walker. Wayne being this tall good looking shy kid from Anaconda Montana, and Leroy being this spoiled mama’s boy from the ghetto of Richmond California. This book is three stories in one, one being a great sport story of how two athlete’s through the game of basketball bonded as very close friend’s. Another story being a noticeable black and white relationship, because of their race and backgrounds. And finally a love story, with a happy ending not to be. An example in this story will show again how fragile life is and can be taken away in an instant. To leave us to always ask “why”
