Toeing Life

Toeing Life is a collection of poetry by Xinn Lin that allows her to share her questions and doubts about her life while she examines her innermost thoughts. She articulates her distractions, frustrations, and annoyance with her life and the people who wander in and out of it. She wonders aloud about the people who find their way into her lifeâ?"what they mean to her and whether they judge her.

Lin was born with six toes, something that has defined her and how she thinks and feels. She uses her poetry to explain that when you have a physical flaw, it can mean nothing yet something in almost everything you do and say. Toeing Life offers a searing look into Linâ??s emotions and how, ultimately, she found strength within herself.
