Troubles multiply in the little waterfront town of Arden as the beleaguered residents work to establish their homes in the town. Sid unleashes an avalanche as he brings the maintenance up to date with the enthusiastic help of Harry. Harry and Anne work together on their two storey house and their family ties. Local wildlife make attempts on the comforts of the town and new people come and go and stay and leave temporarily. Even the police move in for a short time.
