Meet Sandy Gull

Meet Sandy Gull is a rhyming picture book about a self-assured if not cocky

seagull who prides himself on being a bit of a rascal! Sandy spends a day

on the beach with his new friend, a young boy named Mickey. He shares

his philosophies of life near the sea, particularly his love of food. In Sandy’s

enthusiasm for treats he gets himself into a bit of a bad situation when he

attempts to steal a bag of potato chips from a sleeping sunbather. Mickey

makes it clear that he cannot remain friends with anyone who would steal and

Sandy learns his new friendship is important to him.
