An Unusual Beginning: A Year in the Life of Arlene and David

What would you do if a family member, friends you’ve loved and trusted like family, and a group of strangers came together and decided to play a joke on you that changed your life in ways you never imagined?
This is what happens to Arlene Patterson and David Fitzgerald when they both fly to Las Vegas to celebrate with family and friends, what should be wonderful changes that are about to occur in their lives.
Changes they’re both looking forward to but because of said family and friends, they will never get a chance to experience.
The joke and its consequences temporarily take control of David’s and Arlene’s lives out of their hands. Sending this couple on a roller-coaster ride of emotions they never expected to experience. Control is only regained when David and Arlene come together, and they accept their situation and start making decisions. Decisions that not everyone in their lives will be happy about and will change the life course of others.
Happily ever after for Arlene and David will be hard for them to achieve, given their “Unusual Beginning” it might even be impossible. However, that is a choice that only the two of them can make.
