The Event

Albert Townsend leads a boring life. His wife walks all over him, he has a boring job at his mother-in-law's boutique, and he rarely speaks to his grown children. But while his acquiescence may be construed as simplicity and compliance, he is anything but. Albert is a murderer. In flashbacks, Albert's four horrendous years at an all-boys boarding school are revealed in all their glory, which includes a roommate named David, who pushed quiet Albert over the edge-and himself six feet under.
