Living On The Edge

Living on the Edge is a compelling, first-person account by Sam Childers, the “Machine Gun Preacher,” of his continuing battle to help the orphan children of East Africa. It's the follow-up to Sam's 2009 best-seller, Another Man's War. Living on the Edge picks up where the first book left off. Childers explains how the same love of action and adrenaline that made him a local legend as a drug dealer and biker, was redirected by God to hunting the Lord's Resistance Army and rescuing children, some as young as five, from terrifying lives as killers and sex slaves. Living on the Edge was written in collaboration with John Perry. Perry is the author of 31 books including Lady of Arlington, nominated for the Lincoln Prize for books on the Civil War era and coauthor of the New York Times bestselling novel, Letters to God.
