Check Yourself!

     This book was birthed out of a crying spirit and an aching heart.  I used to lay awake nights pondering the plight of the women I knew.  I spent hours examining myself, my life, and my experiences.  What changes had I made that could possibly have created such a dramatic "180" in my personal relationships?  I wondered what we as women were missing and why we couldn’t seem to grab hold of our realities while still marching toward our possibilities.  I was inspired by my friends, mother, aunts, cousins, co-workers, church members, and even the observing the situations of strangers.  In searching for the answers, I found clarity in the text of the Life Application Study Bible: New Living Translation.

     It is my profound and sincere prayer that both men and women of all ages can find something in this book to which they can relate.  I pray that we all will be made better and more beautiful people through the willingness to try some new ideas and embrace the possibility of change.
