Pepopper's Gone To Heaven

This book was written to help Karen's son, Corey, to cope  with the death of his grandfather whom he called Pepopper.  The book takes us on the journey of the last few months of Pepopper's life. The moments that they had together are to be cherished forever. Corey shows courage regarding his grandfather's illness and subsequent death. Although sad because of his grandfather's death, Corey is happy in the knowledge that his Pepopper is in Heaven.

Karen's hope is that this book will assist other children who face the death of a loved one to cope better by knowing that they are not alone and that others go through the same process of grieving.

Corey actually illustrated the book as part of his healing process.
