The Trade

The Trade is a novel that touches upon the ongoing pursuit of wealth by especially the ultra rich who sometimes, will go to any length to maintain their privileged status in society whilst, in the process, enslaving others in order to realize tremendous profits for themselves. The poor and the unlettered throw themselves at any perceived opportunity to better their lives and the lives of their relatives, only to find that more often than not, they are caught in a web of deceit and cruelty spun by unscrupulous human traffickers who abuse their trust and lure them on with false promises which they so eagerly accept.
